Who Qualifies For A Bursary Or Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications are actually open and may close on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must fulfill the subsequent requirements:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a house with a combined gross residence income that doesn't exceed R350 000 for every annum.
• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined residence earnings won't exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and wish not post any evidence of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent people from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
Applicants are reminded to provide the proper Identification Document numbers, names, website and surname, as reflected within their South African ID.
